When You’re A Million Miles Away

When you’re a million miles away what can I say?
When you’re a million miles away what can I do?
When you’re here right beside me and I can’t reach you
When you’re a million miles away am I with you?

Are you walking the wond’rous streets of Paris?
Are you resting in the gentle Tuileries?
Or maybe sipping cold champagne on the Champs Elysees?
Or strolling in the gardens of Versailles?

When you’re a million miles away what can I say?
When you’re a million miles away what can I do?
When you’re here right beside me and I can’t reach you
When you’re a million miles away am I with you?

Are you saying a silent prayer in Sacre Coeur?
Are you in awe of the beauty of Van Gogh?
Maybe lost in an adventure on the metro?
Or strolling in the shadows of Sorbonne?

When you’re a million miles away what can I say?
When you’re a million miles away what can I do?
When you’re here right beside me and I can’t reach you
When you’re a million miles away am I with you?

Rêver du passé quand la vie était juste
[Dreaming of the past when life was fair]
Rêver du passe quand l’amour etait bon
[Dreaming of the past when love was fine]
Rêver de nos lieux et de notre temps
[Dreaming of our places and our times]
Et sans oublier nos espoirs et nos rêves
[And never letting go our hopes and dreams]

When you’re a million miles away what can I say?
When you’re a million miles away what can I do?
When you’re here right beside me and I can’t reach you
When you’re a million miles away am I with you?
When you’re a million miles away am I with you?
When you’re a million miles away am I with you?
